Mats Brommels
Mats Brommels, MD PhD, Professor and Director, Medical Management Centre, Karolinska Institutet since 2002, has a long track record in health services research. His main interests, apart from managing integrated healthcare systems, are in clinical management, quality improvement and patient safety, and in international health systems comparisons. He was previously professor of healthcare management at the University of Helsinki, Finland, and the Nordic School of Public Health, Gothenburg, Sweden. – In 2011 he was appointed Chair of the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics at Karolinska Institutet.
